Colour Switcher is a Sokoban-style puzzle game built in Godot with C#. You are Bob the robot, to solve each puzzle, you need to change your colour to interact with matching elements in the environment.

A team project where I handled game design, all visuals, programming and debugging.

Game Design
Designed the full game, core mechanic, puzzle logic, level sequence and difficulty progression built around the colour-switching interaction.
Visuals
Created all visual assets for the game, characters, environments and UI, giving the project a consistent, readable visual identity.
Programming & Debug
Programmed the game in Godot with C# and handled debugging throughout development, covering gameplay logic, puzzle state management and edge cases.
  • Colour as the sole interaction mechanic means the puzzle language is entirely visual, every level had to communicate which colour is needed before the player even moves, otherwise it becomes trial and error rather than deduction.
  • Sokoban-style level design requires thinking in reverse: start from the solution state and work backwards, ensuring there's always exactly one logical path without dead ends that require a full reset.
